Erlocip is an anti cancer
that is used to stop the cancer from spreading and is usually prescribed in
case of lung cancer.

it works?
This medicine controls
the activity of abnormal protein and this brings down the growth of cancer
cells. Regular intake of this medicine restricts the growth of cancer cells.

Erloninib is a first line
medicine used for treating metastatic non-small cell lung cancer. It is used in
advanced stage of cancer to prevent it from spreading to other body parts. This
medicine is also used for creating pancreatic cancer. This medicine
is given to the patients who have not succeeded with at least one chemotherapy
session.
Dosage

This anti cancer drug
needs to be taken daily with a glass of water. However, the doctor would decide
on the dosage looking at the line of treatment. The medicine needs to be taken
1 to 2 hours after taking a meal, it would be better to consult ones doctor
from appropriate dosage and instructions.

if you miss a dose?

Things
to be taken care of
Erlocip cannot be taken
without a prescription as it might prove fatal. Intake of grapes and grape
juice is prohibited with this medicine as this might trigger up the blood
levels of the drug. Intake of erlocip during pregnancy has shown risk to fetus,
thus pregnant women need to consult their cancer specialist before taking this
medicine. This medicine is not to be used by the ones trying to conceive and
the ones breast feeding their child as it might harm the baby.

Effects

Interaction with other drugs
The chemicals present in
this anti cancer drugs might show interaction with telithromycin, ritonavir,
carbamazepine, indinavir, voriconazole , rifampin, phenobarbital, saquinavir,
ketoconazole, nelfinavir, and itraconazole. Do not take this medicine for at
least few hours if you take taken any other drug or an antacid as the
interactions might bring down the absorption of drug in the body.
