Dosage:
Endace 160 Mg is used in the treatment of Breast and
Endometrial Cancer. It is a prescription based drug which may be available in
different strengths and substitutes. Consult your doctor for dosage and time as
severity of the disease varies from patient to patient.
Patients are advised to take Endace 160 Mg at a fixed
time with or without food or as instructed by your Doctor. It is not
recommended for children and elderly patients having Liver/ Kidney/ or Heart
Disease.
How Much Of The Endace 160 Mg (Megestrol) to Be Used:
Patients are always advised to follow their doctor’s
prescriptions and instructions to take Endace 160 Mg.
How To Take The Endace 160 Mg (Megestrol):
Endace 160 Mg dose should be taken at a fixed time with
or without food. Swallow the tablet as a whole with water without
chewing/crushing it.
For How Long Should You Continue Using Endace 160 Mg
(Megestrol):
You are always advised to take Endace 160 Mg as
prescribed by your doctor. Do not start/stop using this medicine yourself. You
are not advised to take it in the smaller or a larger amount or for a longer
time than recommended.
Overdose:
Contact your doctor immediately if you are suspecting an
overdose symptom of the medicine.
Missed Dose:
Try to take every dose of Endace 160 Mg at a fixed time.
A missed dose can be taken as soon as you remember or do not take if it is time
for next dose. Only take one dose at a time. Do not take multiple doses at same
time to make up for missed dose as it may result in adverse effects.

- Headache
- Nausea/Vomiting
- Renal Dysfunction/Kidney Damage
- Loss of appetite
- Diarrhoea
- Edema (swelling)
- Abdominal bloating
- Anxiety
- Irritability/Urticaria
- Depression
- Muscle pain
What Are The Common Drug Interactions:
Endace 160 Mg may interact with medicines you are taking
previously which can produce some adverse effects or cause your drug not to
work properly. You should always tell your doctor if you are on other
medication or you have pre-existing surgeries and diseases. It interacts with
the following medicines:
- Aminoglutethimide
- Carbamazepine
- Griseofulvin
- Phenobarbital
- Phenytoin
- Rifampin
Warning And Precaution:
Endace 160 Mg is contraindicated in conditions like:
- Hypersensitivity
- Elderly Patients having secondary
Diseases
- Thromboembolic Disease
- Vaginal Bleeding
- Pregnant and Breastfeeding women
- Severe Kidney and Liver Diseases
Things To Remember:
- You should go for kidney and Liver
function test whenever required
- Keep out of reach of children
- Always read the information

Indications:
It should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. Do not
stop taking this capsule before completion of the course.
Storage:
Store the Endace 160 Mg at room temperature in dark and dry place. Make sure that the capsules should be intact and not damaged.
