SERETIDE
DISKUS - 50 MCG / 500 MCG
The combination medicine for treatment of asthma incorporates
two major components as fluticasone propionate and Salmeterol Xinafoate. It
obviously performs functions as efficient yet useful medication. In fact, the

supplement in case you have cardiovascular problems or hypertension during your
conceiving period.
Dosage

taking this medicine. For asthmatic patients the general dosage is given as

you should choose Seretide Diskus of strength 50/500 mcg or 50/250 mcg for a
single inhalation for 2 times in a day. On the other side, doctors recommend
for 50/100 combination for children starting from 4 years to up to 12 years.

What
if you miss a dose?
In case you miss a dose of Seretide, skip the dose and take the
next one on time. If it’s too late but less than 1 hour of the meal, then you
can take it normally as you would. Don’t double up the dose in order to
compensate with the missed one.

if you overdose?
In case of an overdose of Sitagliptin, you may suffer from
harmful side effect such as Allergic reaction, Difficulty in breathing, Chest

centre immediately.

Effects
Inform your doctor as soon as possible if you witness any of the
following side effects- Palpitation, Hypotension, Restlessness, Urticaria, Nose
bleeding, Mild tremors Dizziness, Nausea, Weakness, Tiredness, Sweating, Fever,
pale skin, rashes.
Interaction
with other drugs

includes prescription, vitamin, over-the-counter, and herbal products. Your
doctor will give you the list of medicines to be avoided while taking Diskus.
Some of the medicines, which interact with Diskus, are Xanthenes, Digitalis,
Diuretics, Linezolid, HIV protease inhibitors, Sympathomimetics drugs, Macrolides,
Boceprevir. Even you will find interaction of the medicine with varying
Beta-blockers combinations.
